Volkswagen Adds Style with New Black Package for 2025 ID.4

Volkswagen Adds Style with New Black Package for 2025 ID.4

Volkswagen is turning up the style on its all-electric SUV. For 2025, the Volkswagen ID.4 gets a sleek new Black Package that adds bold design elements to the already popular EV — giving drivers a new way to stand out on the road.

What’s in the Black Package?

Available on the S and S Plus trims, the Black Package is all about a stealthy, refined aesthetic. It includes:

  • Black mirror caps
  • Black door handles
  • Black badging and flitzer
  • 20-inch black-painted aluminum-alloy wheels

For drivers opting for the S Plus trim, there’s also the addition of an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror for extra functionality.

This package builds on the ID.4’s premium feel and gives it a more assertive presence — perfect for EV buyers looking for a balance of performance, sustainability, and standout design.

Built in the U.S., Built for Today

The 2025 ID.4 continues to be assembled in Chattanooga, Tennessee, reflecting Volkswagen’s commitment to local manufacturing and sustainable mobility. Starting at $45,095 MSRP for the 82-kWh ID.4 Pro, the lineup includes a mix of trims to suit different driving needs:

  • Entry-level: Pro, AWD Pro
  • Mid-range: Pro S, AWD Pro S
  • Top-tier: AWD Pro S Plus

All models produced from mid-April 2025 come equipped with the latest software updates, offering new features such as:

  • Door opening warning
  • Enhanced seatbelt reminder
  • Available Premium Speech functionality

In addition to the Black Package, Volkswagen is also introducing Mountain Lake Blue, a striking new exterior color for the 2025 model year.

Why It Matters

With EVs becoming increasingly common, the new Black Package gives the ID.4 a sharper edge — visually distinguishing it in a sea of electric SUVs. Paired with its spacious interior, advanced tech, and now more expressive design options, the 2025 ID.4 continues to make a strong case for drivers ready to go electric without sacrificing style.
